“ Matthew T. Armistead, President, has over 35 years experience in the industry.  His “hands on” management approach goes back to when he worked as a field foreman for The Armistead Corporation for both plumbing and pipefitting projects. He was the first of the third generation to receive his Master Plumbing License on February 15, 1977 and is also certified in Arc Welding.  As a project manager/estimator, he handled the Colgate Palmolive and Thomas J. Lipton accounts.  Matthew T. was vice-president of The Armistead Corporation for four years until it was dissolved in 1987.  Currently, Matthew T. Armistead oversees all of the general operations of M & S Armistead, Inc. and makes all executive decisions.  He controls all estimating and take-offs, and handles all contract negotiations.

“ Matthew Armistead, Jr., Vice-President, graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor Science in Business Administration with a major in Finance.Besides having these credentials, Matthew Jr. spent numerous years working in the field with the tools bringing projects out of the ground in both plumbing and pipefitting projects.  He started working in the business at the age of 15 during his summers as a helper and has worked his way up since.  Currently, Matthew Jr., is heavily involved in all business activities of the company.  More specifically, he handles all financial aspects of the company and purchasing, as well as oversees field coordination and project management.
