Over the years M & S Armistead, Inc. has completed various projects safely, on time, and within budget for many commercial, industrial, and institutional clients in both the private and public sectors of Northern New Jersey. Bergen Community College - (EDUCATION) Paramus, NJ C-Wing Infill - HVAC – Administrative office space renovation included Trane split system, sheet metal, refrigeration piping, temperature controls, and air balancing. East Hall Culinary Facility – Plumbing – This renovation project included gas piping, grease traps, waste/vent piping, water piping, and kitchen equipment hook-ups. Surgical Science Suite – Plumbing/HVAC – This renovation included acid waste piping, water piping, lab equipment hook-ups, sheet metal, VAV boxes, temperature controls, and air balancing.

William Paterson University - (EDUCATION) Wayne, NJ Wightman Gym – Plumbing/HVAC – This project included 6” gas service, water piping, Trane rooftop unit, sheet metal, temperature controls, and air balancing. Wayne Hall Dining Facility – HVAC – This renovation included sheet metal, air outlets, and air balancing.

Bergen Regional Medical Center - (HEALTHCARE) Paramus, NJ Kitchen Facility Upgrade – Plumbing – Included sanitary underground, (3) grease traps, steam piping, and water piping.

Englewood Hospital - (HEALTHCARE) Englewood, NJ Linac Addition – Plumbing/HVAC/Fire Protection – The plumbing consisted of laboratory sinks, medical gas piping, storm piping, and roof drains.  HVAC included refrigeration piping, glycol piping, hot water reheat coils, sheet metal, temperature controls, air and water balancing, Trane weatherproof air handler, and a Artic process chiller serving medical equipment

Hackensack University Medical Center - (HEALTHCARE) Hackensack, NJ Emergency Generator – 12” Carbon Steel Welded Pipe Stack Essex Street Parking Garage – Plumbing Diagnostic Imaging Center – Plumbing/HVAC Medical Waste Pulverizer Building – Plumbing/Piping Pediatrics & Children’s Eye Surgery Center – Plumbing – This project consisted of a 24,000 square foot renovation in an existing 3 story building.  It included medical gas lines, gas piping,  and plumbing for the Children’s Hospital and Eye Surgery Center.

Mid-Atlantic Cardiology - (HEALTHCARE) Morristown, NJ  HVAC - This project was a renovation of 20,000 square feet in an existing medical office building affiliated with Morristown Hospital.  Our scope of work included a Governair rooftop unit and Leibert environmental units for MRI rooms and same day surgery suites. The project also consisted of sheetmetal, temperature controls, air and water balancing, refrigeration piping, heating hot water piping, condensate piping, and glycol piping.

Morristown Memorial Hospital - (HEALTHCARE) Morristown, NJ Outpatient Radiology and Endoscopy Suite – HVAC – Renovation consisted of condensate piping, Liebert split systems, refrigeration piping, sheet metal, air balancing, temperature controls, radiant ceiling panels, and Rigg-Flo Filters.

Pascack Valley Hospital - (HEALTHCARE) Westwood, NJ Coffee Shop Renovation – Plumbing/HVAC – Included Greenheck make-up air kitchen exhaust, Trane rooftop unit, sheet metal, air balancing, temperature controls, gas piping, plumbing underground, floor drains/sinks, kitchen equipment hook-ups, and hot water baseboard.

Acme Gear - (CORPORATE) Englewood, NJ Plumbing/HVAC

Samsung - (CORPORATE) Secaucus, NJ HVAC - 23,000 square foot office addition included Carrier packaged rooftop units, sheet metal, VAV boxes, hot water baseboard, hot water piping, air and water balancing, and temperature controls.

Mercedes Benz USA - (CORPORATE) Montvale, NJ Human Resources – HVAC - 7,000 square foot office space renovation included sheet metal, VAV boxes with hot water coil piping ,hot water radiant ceiling panels, balancing, and temperature controls. Lobby Expansion – HVAC included sheet metal, hot water piping, pedestal radiation, linear diffusers, balancing, and temperature controls.

The Thomas J. Lipton Company - (CORPORATE) Englewood Cliffs, NJ One of Armistead’s oldest customers.  We provided full time on-site operations and maintenance service to this company for many years.  Also, completed various piping projects in the Research and Development labs.  Utility Tunnel – Research Building C – This pipe fitting project consisted of welding 10” chilled water and 12” steam piping from Research Building C to the Power Plant Building.

Estee Lauder Companies – Aramis Facility - (Industrial Process Piping) Oakland, NJ Line Realignment Project – Plumbing/HVAC/Piping - This project consisted of the installation of underground Double-Wall piping and Poly-Trench drains for an alcohol spill containment system.  It also included compressed air, vacuum, and gas lines.  The HVAC scope of work included 40-ton Trane rooftop units, hot water reheat coils, sheet metal, balancing, and an alcohol detection system

Henkel Corp. - (Industrial Process Piping) Harrison and Carlstadt, NJ Completed various process piping projects for this chemical manufacturing company.

Tropicana - (Industrial Process Piping) Jersey City, NJ Vehicle Maintenance Facility - Plumbing/HVAC – This new facility consisted of fuel oil piping, oil interceptors, double wall containment piping system, and compressed air piping.

St. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Church - (RELIGIOUS) Jersey City, NJ Plumbing/HVAC/Fire Protection – 12, 000 square foot new church

Greek Orthodox Church of the Ascension - (RELIGIOUS) Fair View, NJ Plumbing/Fire Protection – 10,000 square foot new church

Borders Books & Music - (RETAIL) Paramus, NJ Plumbing – Included gas piping to HVAC equipment, new bathrooms, and an espresso bar.

Bergen Community College - West Hall Communication Arts Building - (EDUCATION) Paramus, NJ This project consisted of a brand new 3 story administration building totaling approximately 62,000 square feet.  HVAC equipment included a 40-ton Air Handling unit split system, a 80-ton Rooftop Air Handling Unit split system, a 75-ton Packaged Rooftop Unit, a 17.5-ton Packaged Rooftop Unit, 53 hot water VAV boxes, 2 hot water boilers, inline circulatory pumps, expansion tank, exhaust fans, 7 ductless split systems, and seismic vibration isolation.  Piping included hot water, refrigeration, and condensate.  HVAC contract also included sheet metal, insulation, balancing, and installing Trane Tracer automated temperature controls that tied into the existing energy management system for the entire campus.

George Washington School - (EDUCATION) Wyckoff, NJ HVAC scope of work included tying into existing steam piping in boiler room and installing a heat exchanger, condensate pump, air seperator, expansion tank, and circulating pumps for new hot water heating system for addition. Also included one (1) 30 ton Trane split system, four (4) Trane gas fired rooftop units, and five (5) McQuay unit ventilators with finned tube radiation and cabinet heaters. All piping and equipment was installed with seismic vibration isolation. Plumbing contract included 3" welded gas piping, a new 3" domestic water service, storm and sanitary drainage systems.

River Dell Regional High School - (EDUCATION) Oradell, NJ This plumbing contract included 3 seperate additions and renovations to the existing building. Piping systems installed were acid waste, domestic water, laboratory gas, natural gas piping to roof-top units, radon, storm, sanitary, and waste/vent piping. Gas piping to roof tops consisted 2,331 feet of six inch welded pipe on the roof. Science addition required lab equipment hook ups and a 175 gallon acid neutralization tank. For the cafeteria addition, also installed a 750 gallon grease interceptor and kitchen equipment hook ups.

Bergen Regional Medical Center-Forensics Unit - (HEALTHCARE) Paramus, NJ This plumbing contract consisted of a renovation of approximately 7,452 square feet of existing space. Scope of work included medical gas systems (oxygen and vacuum), vacuum pump, stainless steel prison fixtures, security access doors for valves, sanitary waste and vent piping, and water piping.

Madison High School - (EDUCATION) Madison, NJ Three (3) seperate additions including science building, gymnasium, and weight room totaling approximately 21,665 square feet. Renovation areas included existing classrooms for science laboratory department and the art department totaling approximately 12,370 square feet. The plumbing contract included approximately 1,743feet of gas piping on the roof, acid waste piping, acid neutralization tank, laboratory water and gas piping, lab equipment hook-ups, storm drainage piping, roof drains, sanitary waste piping, plumbing fixtures with support carriers, and solids interceptors.

Bergen County Technical Schools - Classroom Addition - (EDUCATION) Hackensack, NJ This plumbing contract involved a two (2) story class room addition totaling approximately 27,360 square feet. Systems installed included new sanitary and storm drainage, domestic water, and natural gas.  Scope of work included service weight cast iron underground, roof drains, three (3) inch combination backflow preventor/pressure reducing valve, water heaters, and fixtures for gang bath rooms.
